All Natural Beeswax Candles
Our candles are hand crafted 100% beeswax.
Wax is a natural by-product of bees and harvesting it causes no harm to the bee colony. It is naturally golden like the essence of the sun and it's scented with the nectar and pollen that bees bring into the hive. So naturally our beeswax candles are made simply with 100% pure beeswax with no added coloring or scent.
Unlike paraffin, which is "oil-based", and therefore easy to burn, pure beeswax may need some care to make sure it continues to burn brightly. It’s important to maintain the wick trimmed to between 1/4" and 1/2". Also make sure to burn your candle long enough each time to allow a hot well of wax to form close to the edge before extinguishing (approx. one hour for every inch of its diameter).
