Costa Digiano is a small organic farm in Le Marche - Italy
The heart of our farm is a Permaculture project where we're working with nature to favor the biodiversity of a balanced and sustainable ecosystem, benefiting all forms of life. Through practicing biodynamic agriculture we aim to activate the fertility of the soil, giving energy and health to our land.
The products of our farm are an expression of this place and of our dedication to this project.
At the moment we produce extra virgin olive oil from our ancient olive grove and recently we introduced our first bee hives at the farm. A multitude of aromatic herbs grow spontaneously at Costa Digiano and we harvest and use these, and are planting many more. With these ingredients we hand craft all natural soaps and candles made with pure bees wax. Earth worms also have a special place at Costa Digiano and thanks to their work we transform any kind of organic matter into a precious humus.

In 2011 our desire to move closer to the earth brought us to Costa Digiano, convinced that a return to nature represents the only road towards a more sane and sustainable future. Armed with the firm belief that the earth belongs to all of us and that it is possible to "become" a farmer, we've taken a crazy leap of faith into our farming life at Costa Digiano, believing that everyone can transform their lives and work towards a better future.
Our goal is to document this possibility as a reality and share it with you as an experience through our blog and through events and classes held at Costa Digiano.
